Mayu Iwatani Signs With Marigold
Mayu Iwatani lands in Marigold.
Marigold announced the signing of Mayu Iwatani at a press conference on Thursday morning. She’ll make her debut at Korakuen Hall on May 4th against Nanae Takahashi.
Iwatani departed STARDOM on April 28. Iwatani explained that he had done everything there was to do in STARDOM, and that her goal in Marigold is to become a Grand Slam champion by capturing all the championships.
Iwatani admitted Marigold’s relationship with WWE played a small factor in her decision as she could possibly face IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, and Giulia again.
