Matt Riddle Sarcastically Told Shane McMahon To Go F*ck Himself At Hulk Hogan’s Funeral, ‘He Might Have Taken That Seriously’

Matt Riddle recalls a recent interaction with Shane McMahon.
Hulk Hogan’s funeral was held in Largo, Florida on Tuesday, August 5 — just a little under two weeks after his sudden passing.
Names like Triple H, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Dennis Rodman, Ric Flair, Kid Rock, and others attended the funeral according to US Weekly.
Speaking with TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring podcast for a new interview, Matt Riddle revealed that he also attended the funeral. Riddle also recalled his brief interaction with Shane McMahon.
“You know, Vince stayed off to the side. I felt like it’d be really unprofessional to go out of my way to do that. If we naturally crossed paths, we did. I didn’t get to talk to Paul. I did see Shane McMahon and the first thing he said to me, and he said it sarcastically, was, ‘Hey, nice hair.’ I’ll be honest, especially now, I don’t work anywhere, I work for myself. He said that to me and I told him to go f himself and walked away. To be fair, he was being sarcastic when I told him to go F off. But, you know, in the world of pro wrestling, you never know. He might’ve taken that seriously.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Matt Riddle recalled one locker room moment with Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble premium live event in 2022. Check out his full comments here.
