Matt Riddle Calls CM Punk A ‘Creep’: “I Feel Like He’s Lingering Around The NXT Locker Room A Little Too Much”
Riddle continues speaking about CM Punk.
A new interview with Matt Riddle was pushed out by TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast. Along the way, CM Punk’s name was brought up, and then that led to A.J. Lee’s name being introduced because of the reports of her pending return to in-ring action.
Riddle made disparaging comments about Lee and then began speaking about Punk again. He said he has no ill will towards Punk, but thinks he’s a ‘creep’ because he’s hanging around at NXT.
“I have no ill will towards CM Punk. He’s a nice enough guy and you agree with it. But, I don’t, and I think he’s fake and I think he’s a creep, and that’s coming from me, and people think I’m a creep and I haven’t done anything wrong.” Co-host asked how CM Punk is a creep, and Riddle responded, “I don’t know. I feel like he’s just lingering around the NXT locker room a little too much, you know?”
