Matt Hardy And Jeff Hardy Feel They Belong On Tag Team Wrestling’s Mount Rushmore
Matt and Jeff Hardy believe they deserve a spot on the Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling tag teams.
Mount Rushmore debates are subjective in the world of professional wrestling, and performers often avoid ranking themselves at the top when asked about all-time greats. However, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy recently stated that they believe they belong on the Mount Rushmore of tag team wrestling because of their longevity as a team and the level they perform at after nearly 40 years in wrestling.
During an interview with Steve Fall for The Wrestling History Channel, Matt Hardy explained why he believes they deserve a spot near the top of the card, and Jeff Hardy was quick to agree.
“I would I would say yes. I mean, especially because I don’t think there’s anyone, at the risk of sounding conceited, I don’t think there’s anyone who has had the longevity that we have had, and also been working at as high a level as we are still,” said Matt.
Jeff simply added, “I agree with Matt. Ditto.”
Matt and Jeff Hardy will try to close a chapter of their careers successfully when they face Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley in one final Tables Match for the WWE NXT and TNA Tag Team Championships at TNA Bound For Glory.
