Matt Cardona Vacates ACW World Title

Matt Cardona was scheduled to defend the ACW World Title at ACW Poughkeepsie Rumble against Mike Santana.
Unfortunately, as the event started, Cardona showed up on the video screen to announce he would be vacating the title after signing with WWE.
Matt Cardona just announced he is no longer able to compete at ACW tonight and has relinquished the ACW World Championship.

Cardona returned to WWE on Friday’s WWE SmackDown, officially re-signing with the promotion. He was released by WWE in 2020 and spent the last five-plus years working for various independent promotions and making one-off appearances for AEW and ROH.
Matt Cardona also holds the JCW Lunacy World Heavyweight Championship, WSW World Heavyweight Championship, and QPW Middle East Championship.
