Matt Cardona Out Of Action With Shoulder Injury, No Longer Competing In Team TNA vs. Team NXT Steel Cage Match

Cardona is out after the attack from Stacks.
The first match on the night for the December 11th TNA iMPACT saw WWE NXT’s Lexis King take on Matt Cardona. The stipulation attached to the bout was that the winner would secure the advantage in the Team NXT versus Team TNA Steel Cage match on 12/18.
TNA International Champion and NXT talent Stacks got involved in the bout and assisted King to victory. Stacks targeted Cardona post-match and injured his shoulder. The double team on Cardona was stopped by Steve Maclin.
When the injury report aired on the 12/11 show, it was announced that Cardona is no longer able to compete in the Steel Cage match. His return date is unknown.
The Steel Cage match will see Team TNA (Mike Santana, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Steve Maclin & TBA) versus Team NXT (Stacks, Lexis King, Brooks Jensen, Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe)
