Mark Nash Says Chelsea Green’s A Badass And He Wants To Announce Her In That Way
Mark Nash explains why he doesn’t use a high-pitched voice to announce Chelsea Green.
Chelsea Green’s introductions were electrifying when Samantha Irvin worked for WWE. Irvin’s announcements added an extra flair, especially for Chelsea as she became the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion. Other announcers like Alicia Taylor and Mike Rome attempted to add their own style to Irvin’s perfect introduction.
Mark Nash, who now does ring announcing for WWE SmackDown, has chosen a different approach for Green. When asked by Chris Van Vliet on his show, “Insight,” Nash explained that he perceives Green as a badass and aimed to deliver a fitting ring announcement for her.
“I’m gonna just throw it out there for the world to know that is never coming out of my mouth. Also, Chelsea is badass, and she deserves to be introduced as a badass. So I think that fans will start to resonate with the badass announcement of Chelsea. Michin, she’s awesome. Then The Miz has been wild, Melo, they’re all great, man.”
Chelsea Green recently found herself with a need to find a temporary replacement for Piper Niven in her Secret Hervice. Learn more about that unfortunate news here.
