Mark Henry: Cody Rhodes Has Established Himself As A Tweener
Cody Rhodes has been met with the boo-birds time and time again as WWE continues their shows overseas.
Whether it was when he lost the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre, or the week after when he came out for his first promo without the title, fans are starting to turn on the former two-time WWE Champion.
“Cody gets to travel the less popular road now,” Mark Henry said. “One of the things that I’ve said with Cody is, Cody has established himself as a tweener. He’s kind of been very heelish.”
He continued, “This is the road he has to travel where he has to re-earn the respect and admiration of the fans because of the journey he’s taken.”
Henry’s comments came on the Busted Open Radio post show for the January 16 episode of Friday Night Smackdown. Cody Rhodes ended up winning the fans back over, but whether or not he can do that in every town WWE goes to remains to be seen.
