Mads Krule Krugger On Using Gravity Gamble Contract At MLW Fightland: Don’t Go In As A Coward, Go In As A Monster
Mads Krule Krugger knew what he was doing at MLW Fightland.
The show featured a shocking title change, as Mads Krule Krugger was able to defeat Matt Riddle and Donovan Dijak in a three way match for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. The bout was originally scheduled to be a singles contest between Riddle and Dijak until Krugger cashed in his Gravity Gamble contract to insert himself in the match.
Speaking with Jeremy Lambert and SP3 of Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds podcast, Krugger stated that he wanted to prove that he wasn’t a coward and that he could beat both Riddle and Dijak in one sitting.
“Risky move, but necessary. Anybody can cash in at the end of a match and win it, but I wanted to prove that I could beat Riddle and Dijak. That was the point. Don’t go in as a coward, go in as a monster.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Krugger talked about his upcoming Chamber Of Horrors match at MLW Slaughterhouse in October. Fans can check out his full comments by clicking here.
