Los Tranquilos de Japon, The Good Brothers, PROGRESS Atlas Title Match Added To NOAH The New Year 2026
Los Tranquilos de Japon’s return to Japan.
Pro Wrestling NOAH is starting 2026 with their annual NOAH The New Year show on January 1st at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan.
The announcement was pushed out that Los Tranquilos de Japon will be in action. Tetsuya Naito, BUSHI and Naito’s trainee RYUSEI make up Los Tranquilos de Japon. In the promotional material for their appearance, it only shows BUSHI and the individual beside him in the graphic is presented as a mystery partner. RYUSEI is scheduled to make his in-ring debut in January. RYUSEI is the twin brother of NJPW Young Lion Masatora Yasuda. Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI have not wrestled in Japan since departing NJPW in May 2025.
On December 7th, NOAH hosted Kaito Kiyomiya’s 10th Anniversary event, and after the 60-minute Iron Man match main event that saw Kenoh defeat Kiyomiya, The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) showed up and ambushed Kiyomiya. At NOAH The New Year, Anderson and Gallows will take on Kiyomiya and Jack Morris.
Also on the docket for the 1/1/26 event is a PROGRESS Atlas Championship match. Will Kroos will be defending against Saxon Huxley.
