Liv Morgan Stalker Filed Motion On 8/20, Asking Court To Reconsider Him Being Held Without Bail Throughout The Trial

An update on the Liv Morgan stalker case.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has an update on the criminal case against Shawn Chan, the individual who was arrested and charged with one count of interstate domestic violence against WWE’s Liv Morgan.
The latest is that Chan filed a motion on August 20th, and he asked the court to reconsider him being held without bail throughout the trial. His attorneys have found a Salvation Army location that Chan can reside at until the trial takes place in November. The court has yet to decide on his request. Chan is incarcerated at the Pasco County Detention Center.
Chan attempted to break into Morgan’s Florida home and described it as a ‘friendly visit.’ He traveled from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, to Florida in May 2025. Chan boarded a flight and told customs that he would be staying at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
When he landed in Orlando, he traveled two hours to Morgan’s home. While at Morgan’s residence, he picked up a long air rifle pellet gun that was already on the porch wall. He waited around Morgan’s property for two hours.
On June 3rd, Chan showed up at the WWE Performance Center. Security recognized him from the surveillance footage at Morgan’s home and notified deputies. Chan was then arrested.
Morgan later told officers that she was out of town when Chan showed up at her property and that she did not know him.
