Leon Slater has withdrawn from RevPro Uprising and wXw Anniversary events this coming weekend.

It has been a whirlwind last few months for TNA’s Leon Slater. Kicking off with winning the TNA X-Division Championship at TNA Slammiversary and having AJ Styles put him over on the microphone, Slater has also found himself competing in WWE more and more, most recently taking part in the Iron Survivor match at this past weekend’s NXT Deadline event. On top of TNA and WWE dates, Slater remains a staple of the independent scenes in not just the US, but back home in the UK and Europe. However, he has now withdrawn from a pair of events.

Over this past weekend, it was first announced by RevPro that Slater would be out of his original championship bout scheduled for their Uprising event on December 14th, with the triple threat match he was originally scheduled for now being changed to a singles match between Sha Samuels and Jay Joshua for the RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship.

Additionally, wXw would also announce on December 8th that Slater would also not be present for their Anniversary show this coming weekend, with the promotion looking to replace his bout in the coming days.
