Leon Slater Becomes Youngest TNA X-Division Champion Ever At TNA Slammiversary

Leon Slater captured the TNA X-Division Championship at TNA Slammiversary, defeating Moose.
The finish saw Leon hit a swanton from across the ring and follow up with his trademark swanton 450.
With this victory, Leon has become the youngest TNA X-Division Champion ever, winning the title at the age of 20.
During the match, Leon hit the swanton 450 after a spear, but Moose managed to kick out, much to the dismay of the crowd. Moose was able to recover and hit a spear, but Leon showed great ring awareness by rolling out of the ring. On the outside, Leon caught Moose with a code red to turn the tide of the contest.

After the match TNA President Carlos Silva was going to award the TNA X-Division Title to Leon, but Moose grabbed the title out of his hands. Moose then strapped the title around Leon’s waist in a sign of respect.
This is the first reign as TNA X-Division Champion for Leon. Moose’s reign ends at 267 days. He made 18 successful title defenses after defeating “Speedball” Mike Bailey on the November 7, 2024 episode of TNA iMPACT!
