Leon Slater & Je’Von Evans Score Win Over The Culling On WWE NXT

TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater was in a segment with Je’Von Evans on the 9/30 episode of NXT on The CW. The two are scheduled to clash at TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view for the X Division Title.

As they were chatting, The Culling (Shawn Spears, Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley & Niko Vance) came into frame and confronted Evans about befriending Slater, seeing as how NXT and TNA are at odds with NXT vs. TNA Showdown on 10/7 looming.

The idea was floated for a tag match between the two sides, and Slater and Evans accepted. The conclusion of the bout saw Slater pin Spears with his signature Swanton 450.
