Leon Slater Issues Apology For Not Being At TNA On AMC Premiere & Genesis PPV

A video message from Slater.
Due to visa-related issues, TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater was unable to be at the promotion’s premiere on AMC or the Genesis pay-per-view.
Slater was unable to travel outside of England, but while there, he made his debut on Friday Night SmackDown during WWE’s European tour. Slater answered Carmelo Hayes’ open challenge for a United States Championship match. Hayes retained the title.
At the Genesis pay-per-view, a video message from Slater aired, and he apologized for not being at the TNA events and stressed that no one is at fault for it.
He was scheduled to defend the belt at Genesis in a three-way involving Moose and Cedric Alexander. He stated that both challengers will get their title shot when he’s able to get back stateside.
Filling in for Slater in the three-way was current WWE talent and former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry.
