Lee Moriarty Retains ROH Pure Title At Supercard Of Honor, Surpasses Nigel McGuinness As Longest-Reigning Pure Champion

Moriarty puts his name in the history books.
The first championship match of the night at ROH Supercard of Honor was the Pure Championship bout that saw Lee Moriarty defending against Blue Panther.
It was Moriarty’s eighth defense of the belt, and it was a successful one as he tapped Blue Panther out with a Border City Stretch.
With the victory, Moriarty now surpasses Nigel McGuinness as the longest-reigning ROH Pure Champion of all time with one reign. Moriarty is sitting at 351 days to McGuinness’ 350 days. Moriarty defeated McGuinness at Final Battle 2024 to retain the Pure Title.
After the bout with Blue Panther, Panther shook Moriarty’s hand and wrapped the title around his waist.
