It was in late 2025 that CMLL wrestler La Catalina stepped away from in-ring competition so she could undergo two separate eye surgeries.

Catalina provided an update on her return to in-ring competition and noted on Facebook that she’s been cleared to return to the ring in February. Below is the translation via Fightful’s Luis Pulido:

I had two surgeries on my eyes in December. I just got medically cleared for FEBRUARY.

My eyes are recovering very well, thank God.
