Kris Statlander Defeats Thekla To Retain AEW Women’s World Title On AEW Dynamite
Kris Statlander is victorious on AEW Dynamite.
The second hour of Wednesday’s Dynamite kicked off with a title match in the women’s division, as Kris Statlander defended the AEW Women’s World Championship against Thekla. This match was made after Thekla pinned Statlander in a six-woman tag on the January 14 episode of the show.
In the end, Statlander pinned Thekla after hitting her with a gut wrench powerbomb and her Staturday Night Fever finisher.

Statlander’s reign with the AEW Women’s World Championship currently sits at the 131 day mark. Since beating Toni Storm for the title last September, Statlander has defended the belt against names like Mercedes Mone and Jamie Hayter.
