Kris Statlander On Death Riders Rejection: I’m Not Sure What They Were Trying To Accomplish, That’s Why I Was Hesitant To Participate In Their Shenanigans

Kris Statlander justifies her Death Riders rejection.
On the September 24 edition of AEW Dynamite, Kris Statlander gave two middle fingers to Jon Moxley, rejecting the offer to join the Death Riders. The following week, Statlander added insult to injury, teaming with Darby Allin to defeat the duo of Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta.
Speaking with Bleacher Report for a new interview, Kris Statlander explained her hesitancy to join the Death Riders.
“I’m not quite sure exactly what they were trying to accomplish, and I think that’s why I was very hesitant to participate in their shenanigans. Because they kind of just come at you with whatever they choose, and they just expect you to conform or follow along with what they are doing, and that’s not really how I roll, I would say.”
Statlander went on and said that she wanted to gain some information on how to take the Death Riders down.
“I’ve been down the path of letting someone else tell me what to do and letting someone else kind of try and guide me, and it ended up not working out with me, and I don’t want to go through that again. They have been terrorizing everyone in AEW for quite some time now, and I try to find a way to see if maybe I can kind of play their game a little bit and maybe I can get a little more information on how to take them down.”
