Killer Kross Says What Happened To Matt Cardona In ‘Commercialized’ Wrestling Was F*cked Up
Killer Kross commends Matt Cardona for his work ethic and says that what happened to him in his career in “commercialized” professional wrestling was tragic.
Killer Kross returned to GCW at GCW Homecoming by helping Shotzi Blackheart defeat Matt Cardona. Cardona has since put up a YouTube video going behind the scenes of that event. In the latter part of the video, Kross offers some candid comments about Cardona.
He would say that what happened to Cardona was “fucked up,” lamenting that he had his legs cut out from under him by those in charge of commercialized wrestling since he wasn’t the handpicked guy.
“What has happened to this guy is truly something that is totally fucked up. He is a guy who outperformed the positions he was given in major commercialized wrestling companies over and over and over again, and he kept getting his legs cut out from underneath him, because that’s not who they wanted to run with. The fact that he fought through that is — and he didn’t let that stop him. He didn’t let that crush him. He’s out here doing this in the most visceral and violent manner. Clearly, he’s not doing it for millions of dollars. He’s doing it for the love of the game, and he’s doing it to make sure that every single person that walks through the door, whether you love him or you hate him, is getting the best show they possibly can, even at his own physical expense.”
They are scheduled to wrestle one another on October 10 at HOG With Glory Comes Pride. Learn more here.
