Killer Kross On Matt Cardona: As Much As I Despise Him As A Human Being, I Respect Him Immensely As A Professional

Killer Kross gives his honest take on Matt Cardona.

Kross and Cardona produced a viral moment at GCW Dream On, as Kross wore a Kane mask and planted Cardona with a chokeslam in the middle of the ring.

Speaking with The Sportster for a new interview, Kross talked about despising Cardona as a human being despite respecting him as a professional. Then, Kross spoke about the viral moment with ‘The Complete’.

“Matt Cardona has such a rich history. As much as I despise him as a human being, I respect him immensely as a professional. You cannot overlook the fact that Kane terrorized him. It was one of the most entertaining periods of his career. I just thought, on a GCW show in a unique venue like that, where we’re in a mall and there’s thousands of people walking by the ring all day, and then there’s people who purchase tickets that are there. Everything that’s going to be on the show, I look at the card from the top to bottom. I know everybody’s stuff. I watch the products. What are they going to do? What’s the one thing that I can do differently that people are going to remember. Well, I can traumatize Matt Cardona with a Kane mask, and I don’t think anyone else has done that.”
