Kevin Owens Says He Would Have Sold His Soul To ‘The Final Boss’ In A Heartbeat

Kevin Owens would have aligned with The Rock.

Ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber, Cody Rhodes was given the choice to sell his soul to “The Final Boss” The Rock and become his champion. Rhodes told Rock to “go fuck himself.” John Cena ended up aligning with The Rock, though they were never on-screen again after Elimination Chamber.

In the months leading up to Elimination Chamber, Kevin Owens was on a hot streak after the WWE Championship, which was held by Cody, but failed to capture the title despite multiple attempts.

On WWE Unreal, former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz, who works closely with The Rock when he returns to WWE and at Seven Bucks Productions, revealed a potential plan where Owens ended up taking The Rock’s offer and beating Cody for the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber.

On social media, Owens replied to the suggestion of selling his soul to The Final Boss and becoming WWE Champion by writing, “I would have done it in a heartbeat!”
