Kevin Nash On CM Punk Wearing A T-Shirt While Wrestling: Wouldn’t It Be Easier To Go To The Gym?
At the end of December, Kevin Nash critiqued how CM Punk performed on the December 22nd episode of WWE Raw, noting how Punk wore a shirt on the show.
Punk responded by seemingly trolling Nash at a live event by taking his shirt off to reveal….another shirt.
On the latest episode of Kliq This, Nash was asked if Punk wearing a shirt might have been a marketing thing to sell more shirts.
“No, I disagree with you because before I even made a comment, I looked at the t-shirt that Phil had on, and it was $16.99. It was a clearance t-shirt. It’s that shirt where you ask for a shirt and the merchandise guy doesn’t give you the one that’s selling for $35, he gives you the $16.99 bargain basement shirt. I already looked at that before I made a comment,” he said.
Asked about Punk trolling him at a live event, Nash replied, “Wouldn’t it be easier to just go to the gym?”
Punk did not wear a shirt on Monday’s WWE Raw when he defended the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Bron Breakker.
Elsewhere during the interview, Nash praised the promo skills of Punk. You can find his full comments here.
