Kevin Nash Feels GUNTHER Doesn’t Have Real Heat, Says He Has ‘Manufactured Heat’
Nash shares his opinion about GUNTHER.
GUNTHER is coming off the heels of making John Cena tap out in what was Cena’s final pro wrestling match. Since then, he’s appeared twice on Monday Night Raw and was heavily booed by the audience. He’s also had run-ins with A.J. Styles and WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk.
Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash spoke about GUNTHER on the newest episode of Kliq This. Nash feels that even with GUNTHER retiring John Cena, he does not have real heat. Nash described the reaction to GUNTHER as ‘manufactured heat.’
“He doesn’t have real heat,” Nash said about GUNTHER and followed up by saying, “No. No, he doesn’t have real heat. He has manufactured heat. It’s the closest thing that there is to heat on that show but he doesn’t have heat.” Nash’s co-host asked if he feels GUNTHER has the most heat out of anyone on the program, and Nash replied, “Yeah… It’s like last week when he came out, and so, his music plays, and then his graphic plays, then he goes out and cuts a promo and then (Adam) Pearce comes out and tells him to get the f*ck out of the building. So, they played his music, played his entrance, gave him a microphone, he cut a promo. But when he got done, it’s time to get the f*ck out of the building, because you’re a bad guy and you got heat.”
GUNTHER and Punk’s run-in aired on the 12/22 Monday Night Raw. It was in the main event of SummerSlam night one that Punk defeated GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Title.
