Kenny Omega Passes 100 Day Mark As AEW International Champion
Another milestone for Kenny Omega.
On Tuesday, June 17, Omega’s current reign with the AEW International Championship hit the 100 day mark. The reign began for Omega after he was able to defeat Konosuke Takeshita back at AEW Revolution on March 9.
Throughout his reign, Omega has defended the belt twice. The first defense happened at AEW Dynasty, with Mike Bailey and Ricochet unsuccessfully challenging for the title. The second defense occured at AEW Fyter Fest, as Omega defeated Brody King, Claudio Castagnoli, and Mascara Dorada in a four way bout.
At AEW All In, Omega’s belt will be merged with the AEW Continental Championship in a unification match. Omega’s opponent will be Kazuchika Okada, the current holder of that title.
