Kendal Grey Defending EVOLVE Women’s Championship Against Lainey Reid On Week Two Of NXT Gold Rush

Lainey Reid ran a play and executed it.

With fellow Fatal Influence members Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley having title matches scheduled for the two-week NXT Gold Rush special, Lainey Reid set up a plan to get herself a title match.

On the 11/11 WWE NXT, Reid walked up to EVOLVE Women’s Champion Kendal Grey and slapped her. A title match between them was then set up for NXT Gold Rush week two on November 25th.

Grey is the second EVOLVE Women’s Champion. She ended Kali Armstrong’s 140-day reign. Grey has had one successful title defense thus far, and that was against Lash Legend.
