Kelani Jordan Opens Up About Succeeding Ash by Elegance As Knockouts World Champion, Their Moment At TNA Victory Road

The moment on stage was special to Jordan.

At TNA’s 2025 Victory Road special, Ash by Elegance broke the news that she would be stepping away from in-ring competition and relinquishing the Knockouts World Championship.

That same night, a new champion was crowned, and it was NXT’s Kelani Jordan. After Jordan’s victory, Ash came out on stage and celebrated with her. Jordan reflected on that while on No-Contest Wrestling.

She spoke about her history with Ash that dates back to when Jordan first got going in WWE NXT. Jordan said she did not know that Ash would be coming out on stage at Victory Road.

“So, when I went to TNA, I remember we were in Canada. I remember seeing her and I hadn’t seen her in a long time so it was a bittersweet moment and I didn’t know that she was even vacating the title. I just knew I was going to TNA and I was going to Canada. So, when I won the title and she met me on the ramp, I didn’t know that she was gonna meet me on the ramp. I had no clue. I just remember turning, her hand on my shoulder and I turned around, and in that moment, I remember she had tears in her eyes and I had tears in my eyes and it just felt like a full-circle moment because she was there from the moment when I was in the Breakout tournament. Super, super duper new. She was there when I was just learning the business, learning the ins and the outs… I always wanna give her a lot of respect and praise and love because she helped me navigate not only the in-ring stuff, but behind the scenes. She really was like a big sister. She was like a mentor in real life. Not just for show if that makes sense, and so when I did win the title — didn’t know that she was gonna vacate it — and that full-circle moment happened, it was just really emotional and honestly just such a cool moment.”

Ash referred to herself as ‘retired’ from wrestling. She still appears in segments with The Elegance Brand (M by Elegance, Heather by Elegance & The Personal Concierge) on TNA iMPACT.
