Karrion Kross Was Hoping To ‘Get Very FMW’ With Sami Zayn At WWE SummerSlam

Kross further speaks about the SummerSlam bout.

It was on night one of WWE SummerSlam that Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross met in their rubber match. They were 1-1 going into SummerSlam, and emerging victorious from that last bout was Zayn.

Kross reflected on the latest match while on Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling. He shared that he was hoping to get more hyperviolent and get ‘very FMW’ in the match with Zayn.

“I’ve always loved SummerSlam when I was little. SummerSlam had a different vibe than the rest of the pay-per-views and to be a performer on that show, I think, is really cool. The novelty of being able to know I was able to do that is cool. I would have liked to have done things a little bit — how should I say? I thought that there was gonna be something a lot more hyperviolent that we’re gonna be able to get into, with me and Sami (Zayn). Nevertheless, I was thrilled to be there and to perform. I was really hoping that I was gonna be able to get very FMW about it with Sami, for those who know the reference.”

In this same interview, Kross confirmed that he’s still under contract to WWE as of August 7th. Neither he nor Scarlett was on the post-SummerSlam edition of Monday Night Raw.
