Kaisei Takechi Pulled From 1/25 DDT Show Due To Pink Eye

A new match has been announced.

Coming up for DDT Pro-Wrestling is their January 25th show at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. On the marquee was a tag team match that would’ve seen Konosuke Takeshita and KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champion Kaisei Takechi taking on Jun Akiyama and HARASHIMA.

Takechi is no longer going to be in action at the show because he contracted pink eye. Takechi took to social media and commented on being pulled from the show.

The new match is now Konosuke Takeshita and Jun Akiyama versus HARASHIMA and To-y.

Kaisei Takechi is a singer, songwriter, and dancer. He’s a part of the J-Pop group, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE. Takechi was in action at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20 in the New Japan Ranbo for the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Titles. He and his music group performed his entrance music before he, Shota Umino, and Yuya Uemura made their way to the ring.

Takechi began his in-ring career in 2024.
