Josh Briggs Fakes Out NXT Crowd With Undertaker’s Gong

Josh Briggs pulled one over on the NXT crowd on Tuesday.

Je’Von Evans spoke from the heart on the September 2nd episode of NXT, apologizing for letting the crowd down and not beating Oba Femi at NXT Heatwave.

On the screen, a motorcycle was headed to the Performance Center, and when the motorcycle arrived, the familiar gong of The Undertaker hit, sending the NXT crowd into a frenzy.

The NXT Universe did not get The Undertaker, instead they were treated to Josh Briggs in biker gear.

Briggs said the problem with Evans’ generation is that he waits and other people surpass him. Briggs said that Evans was never going to be good enough. Evans tried to attack Briggs, but Briggs was one step ahead, taking out Evans.

Briggs said that Evans needed to learn when to fight and when to stay down before chokeslaming him on an open chair.
