Jordynne Grace: Shawn Michaels Is Very Special. It’s Rare For Older Wrestlers To Adapt To A New Mentality

Jordynne Grace discusses working with Shawn Michaels in WWE NXT and praises his leadership style.

Jordynne Grace is one of the top stars in WWE NXT. Currently, that brand is led by WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels. Ahead of WWE NXT Heatwave, Grace spoke with Justin Barrasso of the Boston Herald and praised HBK for his ability to give advice without ever tearing anyone down. She also commended his skill in adapting his mindset to today’s wrestlers and wrestling style.

“Shawn is very special,” said Grace. “He’s very encouraging and gives the best advice, and he does it without running anyone down. It’s rare, especially in wrestling, for the older generation to adapt to a new mentality. But Shawn has brought a new fast-paced style to WWE with NXT, which is different from the main roster.”

Jordynne Grace, a former TNA Knockouts World Champion, will take on Blake Monroe, a former AEW Women’s World Champion, at WWE NXT Heatwave. Check out the full event card here.
