Jon Moxley vs. Josh Alexander In AEW Continental Title Eliminator Added To Dynamite: New Year’s Smash

Addition to the New Year’s Smash lineup.
The final slate of AEW programming for the year 2025 is the New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite on December 31st from Ralston, Nebraska.
Joining the show lineup is a Continental Championship Eliminator match. Jon Moxley defeated Kazuchika Okada in the finals of the 2025 Continental Classic tournament, and by doing that, he dethroned Okada as AEW Continental Champion.
Moxley is now set for New Year’s Smash, where he will face Josh Alexander in an Eliminator match. There can be no outside interference. Alexander can earn a title match by either defeating Moxley or lasting the full 20-minute time limit.
