John Cena: We’re Cooking Up Something Awesome For Fans
John Cena won’t give spoilers, but he will tease a bit.
John Cena is set to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk at WWE Night of Champions as they renew their rivalry that goes back over a decade.
Speaking at the WWE SummerSlam Kickoff Show, Cena commented on what’s coming up ahead of WWE Night of Champions.
“If you guys are digging what we’re doing on television, I hope you watch Night of Champions because it’s going to be effing great. I hope you liked SmackDown, I hope you like the next SmackDown because we’re cooking up something awesome for you. Watch Night of Champions,” he stated.
Throughout the interview, Cena would dodge questions from Michael Cole, saying he wasn’t going to spoil upcoming weeks of television.
On Friday’s WWE SmackDown, Cena gave his version of the pipebomb promo.
