John Cena Taps Out In His Last Match

John Cena has officially called it a career, competing in his retirement match on December 13th against Gunther.
John Cena gave up in his final match, tapping out to the sleeper hold from Gunther. It was the first time Cena tapped out in over 20 years.
During the match, the crowd chanted “Super Cena” while Gunther was in control. Cena would hit his trademark comeback, finished with an AA, but Gunther kicked out.
On the outside, Cena hit the AA on Gunther through the announce table.
Back in the ring, Cena fired up the crowd for the five-knuckle shuffle, but Gunther cut him off. Cena would rebound with a super AA, but Gunther kicked out again. After a strike exchange, Gunther reversed the AA and hit a powerbomb followed by a splash.
Gunther locked in the sleeper and after a long battle, Cena managed to reverse with the AA. Gunther again kicked out and got the sleeper back on. Cena battled again, but finally tapped out.
After the match, the crowd chanted “Bullshit” as Cena started to get up. They then chanted “Thank you Cena.” Cena acknowledged the crowd as the locker room emptied. The crowd booed Triple H and chanted “You fucked up.”
CM Punk and Cody Rhodes handed their titles to Cena and the crowd once again chanted “Thank you Cena.”
