John Cena Picks Up Victory Over Logan Paul At WWE Clash In Paris

John Cena’s retirement tour continues through France.

On the marquee for WWE Clash in Paris was the continuation of John Cena’s retirement tour. He faced Logan Paul in a singles match. Cena has eight appearances left before his final bout in December at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

There was a point in the bout when Paul delivered an uppercut to Cena, and Michael Cole said it was ‘Cesaro-like.’ Cena mentioned Claudio Castagnoli by name in his version of the ‘Pipebomb’ during his program with CM Punk. Paul also hit a ‘Zig-Zag’ onto Cena, and Michael Cole mentioned Dolph Ziggler (Nic Nemeth) by name. Nemeth was also mentioned during Cena’s Pipebomb.

The bout also saw Cena use Christopher Daniels’ ‘Angel’s Wings’, and he did the Styles Clash onto Paul. The Styles Clash caused the crowd in France to do the ‘phenomenal’ chant for Styles.

The match concluded with Cena hitting an Attitude Adjustment onto Paul. He rolled into another, but Paul punched him. Cena bounced off the ropes, and Paul swung again, but Cena ducked it, lifted him for an Attitude Adjustment, and that scored him the victory.
