John Cena has featured in a new ad for ESPN’s direct-to-consumer app.
Last week on August 6th, WWE and ESPN would announce that the two companies had struck a deal for WWE to air their PLE’s on ESPN’s streaming platform beginning in 2026.
On Monday, ESPN would reveal a new ad for ESPN’s direct-to-consumer app which featured former WWE Champion John Cena and the brands new mascot ‘App-E’.

ESPN’s new streaming service is set to launch on August 21st, with WWE PLE’s also set to air on ESPN’s cable channel.
Netflix currently airs all of WWE’s weekly shows and PLE’s in Europe.
