John Cena Booked For Upcoming WWE SmackDown At Prudential Center In Newark, New Jersey
John Cena is confirmed to appear on yet another episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown in August 2025.
John Cena will be on the final episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown before WWE SummerSlam. The Prudential Center in New Jersey has announced that the current WWE Champion’s farewell tour as a WWE Superstar will see him appear in Newark, New Jersey, on August 1, 2025, as part of the go-home episode of WWE SmackDown.
Of John Cena’s remaining WWE appearances, five of them are now slated to take place in August.

Cena is now down to 18 appearances after opening the June 13 episode of WWE SmackDown.
