Joe Hendry & Thea Hail To Challenge Ethan Page & Chelsea Green For AAA Mixed Tag Titles At NXT Gold Rush
Hail and Hendry are going after the titles.
The closing segment of the 11/4 edition of NXT on The CW saw newly crowned AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Ethan Page celebrating their title win. Over the weekend at AAA’s Day of the Dead event, they defeated La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana to capture the belts.
As Green, Page, and Alba Fyre were basking in their victory, Joe Hendry’s name came to mind, and they agreed that they should not say his full name or else Hendry would pop out of the cake that was in the ring.
The AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions had Alba Fyre say it, and Hendry emerged, but from the entrance way. Hendry went on to say that he wants a shot at Green and Page’s titles, and went on to reveal that his partner will be Thea Hail.
Hail popped up out of the cake, and her new partner and she took the fight to the champions. The title match is set for NXT Gold Rush.
