Joe Hendry On Potential Randy Orton Rematch: Maybe We Could Tag One Day. Fans Would Want To See It

Joe Hendry comments on the possibility of wrestling Randy Orton again and suggests that perhaps there’s more fan interest in seeing them team up as a tag team.

An unfortunate injury to Kevin Owens left Randy Orton without an opponent at WrestleMania 41. However, where there is chaos, there is opportunity. Joe Hendry was able to step up and face Randy Orton at WrestleMania as the reigning TNA Wrestling World Champion. The match was short, and Orton would get the victory, but Joe left an impression on Randy and the entire WWE Universe with that appearance.

Joe Henry was recently asked about a potential rematch with Randy Orton one day during an interview with Kevin Kellam of Sportskeeda WrestleBinge. He said that while no one knows for sure what will happen in this era of professional wrestling, he believes there’s interest in seeing Randy and himself team up.

“It’s impossible to say. Anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling. We are in an era where anything can happen. But hey, I mean, if you look at the paths of myself and Randy Orton, maybe we don’t face each other. Maybe me and him could tag one day. I think that would be something the fans would want to see.”

After their brief WrestleMania encounter, Randy Orton mentioned that he expects to see Joe Hendry again someday. Read his comments here

Joe Hendry has also commented on the belief that he was “buried” by Randy Orton at WWE WrestleMania 41. Read those comments here.
