Joe Hendry Defeats Charlie Dempsey On 8/12 WWE NXT

TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry picked up another big-time win on WWE NXT. On August 12, he defeated Charlie Dempsey.

Joe Hendry burst out of a refrigerator on the August 5 episode of WWE NXT to confront Charlie Dempsey and challenge him to a match. That match took place on August 12, and despite the best efforts of the second-generation star, Hendry got the victory with the Standing Ovation.

Not only that, Joe Hendry tortured Charlie Dempsey all day during his preparation for the match, as he kept appearing at random spots inside the WWE Performance Center.

Unfortunately for Wren Sinclair, this match did not cheer Charlie Dempsey up as she had hoped. Dempsey is still reeling from losing to Tavion Heights and Myles Borne. After their victories, both men left the No Quarter Catch Crew, leaving Charlie feeling forlorn.

In the past, Joe Hendry has headlined NXT pay-per-views, challenging for the WWE NXT Championship. Also, he’s the man who lost the TNA Wrestling World Championship to WWE NXT Superstar Trick Williams at WWE NXT Battleground. It is not known when he will next appear on WWE NXT. However, it seems all it will take is for someone to say his name.
