Joe Gacy On Teaming With Dexter Lumis: I Think We’ve Always Gotten Along Even When We Knew Each Other In NXT, We Were Both Kind Of Weirdos

Before Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis joined the Wyatt Sicks, they both had their own paths in WWE NXT, but were both strange in their own ways. Gacy would form his own cult like faction, while Lumis was a mute axe murderer who found himself married to Indi Hartwell at one point. However, once they were called up to the WWE main roster, the pair had joined The Wyatt Sicks faction and are now the WWE Tag Team Champions on Friday Night SmackDown.

While speaking to WrestlingNews.co’s Emily Mae in a new interview ahead of WWE Clash In Paris, Joe Gacy spoke about the pair as a tag team, noting that they were ‘both kind of weirdos’ while in NXT.

“I think for us, it was really all about kind of getting out there and feeling it. I mean, personally, I think we’ve always gotten along even when we kind of knew each other in NXT a little bit. We were both kind of weirdos. No, I mean, it’s been great. I mean, I think being in Wyatt Sicks together, for us two specifically and everyone else in the group, we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well. And I think we’ve all kind of just formed this bond.”
