Je’Von Evans discusses if he feels any pressure about being seen as ‘the future of pro wrestling’.

Evans burst onto the WWE sign over the past couple of years as a member of the WWE NXT roster, and is now poised for his WWE main roster callup after a flurry of big time performances from the 21 year old in WWE, TNA and AAA.

While speaking to the Battleground podcast in a new interview, Je’Von Evans spoke on if he feels any pressure on being seen as the future of pro wrestling.

“Oh, of course. Like, I always feel like it’s a chip on my shoulder. You know what I mean? Because I feel like I always have something to prove, especially knowing that there’s a lot of people who, like you said, like I got brought in and, and I bring like this new flavor to wrestling, you know what I mean? Young, excited, all this, you know? I feel like I have to hold my end of the bargain up, you know? But yeah, that’s always in my head, and honestly, like balancing wise, um, I don’t really have trouble with it. I just go out there and have fun, you know? So it’s like, it’s always on top of my dome, but it doesn’t really bother me. It doesn’t really affect me, you know?”

Elsewhere in another recent interview, Evans spoke about wanting to compete inside Hell In A Cell. You can read more about that here.
