Jelly Roll discusses becoming famous enough to compete in a celebrity wrestling match with WWE.

At SummerSlam 2025, the musician would compete in a tag team match where he teamed with Randy Orton to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul in the bout after making several appearances on WWE beforehand, beginning in 2023 with a push to Dominik Mysterio from the first row.

While speaking during the fourth episode of WWE: Unreal’s second season, Jelly Roll noted that getting famous enough to compete in a celebrity wrestling match was his North Star.

“I watched these celebrities get these cool matches, so when I started doing music and people started noticing me, it was always kind of my North Star. ‘I wonder if I’ll get famous enough that I’ll actually get involved to be in one of these wrestling matches as a celebrity.'”

Elsewhere in the same episode, Jelly Roll spoke about his weight during his SummerSlam 2024 appearance, noting he was scared it was going to kill him. You can read more about that here.
