Jelly Roll Reveals He Broke His Pinkie During The First Week Of Training For WWE SummerSlam

Jelly Roll reveals a previous injury.
At SummerSlam, Jelly Roll will make his in-ring debut for the WWE, teaming up with Randy Orton to take on the team of Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.
Roll’s training process has been heavily documented in the media, but as it turns out, the Grammy-nominated musician has kept quiet about an injury. Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, Roll revealed that he broke his pinkie during his first week of training.
“Listen, that wrestling fake stuff has got to go out the door. There’s no fake way to land on a piece of plywood in front of 60,000 people. There’s no fake way to go over a cable rope in front of 65,000 people, man. I broke my pinkie week one of training by accident. It’s a constant collision, dude.”
Jelly Roll’s match will take place on the first night of WWE SummerSlam.
The rest of the card also features top names like Rhea Ripley, John Cena, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Becky Lynch. Check out the full lineup for both nights of the show by clicking here.
