Jeff Jarrett Recalls Taylor Swift Performing Impromptu Three-Hour Concert At His Home, Crowd Going From Five To 45

Taylor Swift has performed in front of some of the biggest audiences in history with her Eras Tour setting records around the world.

In 2006, she played at Jeff Jarrett’s home, stopping by to visit the Jarrett family as Jeff’s wife Jill was ill with breast cancer.

“A friend of Taylor’s said, ‘Hey, why don’t you drop by.’ Obviously, like every little girl in America, my daughters were big Taylor fans. Her songs just kind of broke. She was a hometown girl so she broke here in town quicker than around the world. It was an amazing experience. She came over, and didn’t bring her guitar in, but she ran back home that day because the girls wanted to sing and play. It just started out with five, six, seven people. It was around Christmas, on a weekend, and one thing led to another. Taylor went to get her guitar and more people dropped by. By the end of the afternoon, Taylor played for about three hours and there was probably 35-45 people at the end of it,” recalled Jarrett in an interview with TMZ.

Jarrett’s daughter Jaclyn played a young Taylor Swift in the “Mine” music video.

Taylor was not on the Jarrett payroll.
