Jeff Jarrett: I’m Going To Do Everything In My Power To Get Bryan Danielson One Step Closer To Winning AEW World Title

Jeff Jarrett is doing it for Bryan Danielson.
In recent weeks, Jeff Jarrett has been trying to give Bryan Danielson advice, hoping to get him to go “all in” when he challenges Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at Wembley Stadium. Jarrett will face Danielson in an Anything Goes match on the August 7th episode of AEW Dynamite.
Speaking on My World with Jeff Jarrett, the WWE Hall of Famer discussed his upcoming match against Danielson.
“When I step into the ring tomorrow night, I have a got a healthy respect for him, and I know that having that healthy respect for him will lead me down a path that I will leave nothing on the table. I’m gonna come at him with everything I got. I know that I don’t get these kind of opportunities, I am incredibly blessed to be getting these kind of opportunities, and I can assure you, I am gonna make the absolute most of this opportunity. I am super fired up. I had no idea about Steamboat, I found that out just about real-time as well. It’s big, it’s really big for me. I’m fired up. I am going to make the most of this opportunity,” Jarrett said.
Jarrett was then asked to comment on what his motivation heading into the match was. He highlighted how Danielson had talked about ending his full-time wrestling career. Jarrett then stated that he would do everything in his power to get Danielson one step closer to winning the world title at AEW All In.
“Sometimes, art imitates life, and life imitates art. We’ll call it the storyline, for the lack of a better word, is that Bryan, it’s no secret, he wants for a multitude of reasons, for his full-time career to basically end, but he wants to go out with a bang. I get that, he has been in AEW, been a pillar of the organization in a multitude of ways. He has his well-known health issues, and I’ll say his not so well known health issues. So he initiated this in every imaginable way, which to me says a lot, and so I’m going into this to do everything I can, and you can read into this a number of ways you want to, I’m gonna do everything in my power to get Bryan Danielson one step closer to winning the world title at Wembley. Everything. So why am I doing it? I’m doing it for Bryan,” Jarrett said.
During the podcast, Jarrett also said that Danielson was the essence of what was good about wrestling. Check out his comments here.
