Jeff Hardy Recalls Pitching A Spot Where A Ladder He Was On Would Be Set On Fire

Jeff Hardy recalls an old pitch that he never got to do in a ladder or TLC match.

Over the years, Jeff has been involved in some incredible spots involving the usage of ladders. Having never met one that he was ready to dive off of, Hardy’s career is littered with moments in ladder and TLC matches. However, one spot did escape him throughout his career so far.

While speaking on the latest episode of Rewind, Recap, Relive, Jeff Hardy recalled a rejected pitched from a long time ago involving a burning ladder.

“I’ll go ahead and say the one thing that I never got to do it. I did pitch it like a long time ago and it’ll probably never happen, so I’ll go ahead and say it. But it’s a finish to a ladder match or a TLC match or whatever. But it would be a wooden ladder, and it would be hooked up with a lot of lighter fluid or whatever. But as you’re going up to get the title, somebody lights it on fire, and it just fires up. That would be the reason you don’t get the title. Or you get it and you fall. So that’s still up here and in here. So it most likely will never happen. But who knows?”
