Jeff Hardy notes that Leon Slater is scheduled to return to action at this upcoming weekends TNA tapings.

Over the course of the past month or so, Leon Slater has been off TNA television due to visa issues, despite competing during WWE’s UK tour last month. Now, we have a return date for him, as one of his peers has now confirmed following an announcement by TNA previously.

While speaking to Reel Appreciation in a new interview, Jeff Hardy explained that Leon Slater is set to return to action with TNA this week at their tapings in Nashville. On Friday, the promotion will host their No Surrender pay-per-view, before hosting a iMPACT! taping the day after, and he also believes that Slater will lead TNA into the future

“Without a doubt, another exciting thing about Nashville, Leon Slater’s going to be back. The Swanton 450 guy, man. So he’s going to be back in action, and he is the future of pro wrestling, man. It’s so cool to work with him and just see what he’s doing at such a young age. So he’s definitely going to lead TNA into the future.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Jeff teased a new face paint look for TNA No Surrender. You can read more about that here.

Fightful Select previously reported that Slater’s current TNA deal expires this year. You can read more about that here.
