Je’Von Evans Makes WWE SmackDown Debut, Ethan Page Costs Evans & Rey Fenix Tag Match vs. Los Garza
NXT North American Champion Ethan Page cost Je’Von Evans and Rey Fenix their tag match on Friday Night SmackDown.
Evans took the pin after Page cost him and Fenix the match.
The May 30th edition of Friday Night SmackDown featured the WWE main roster debut of NXT’s Je’Von Evans. He tagged with Rey Fenix to take on Los Garza (Berto & Angel).
On commentary for the bout was newly crowned North American Champion Ethan Page. At the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide show on June 7th, Page is defending the North American Title in a Fatal 4-Way against Evans, Fenix, and Laredo Kid.
As for the tag match on SmackDown, Page got into a verbal altercation with Fenix and Evans which turned physical. He ended up costing his soon-to-be opponents the tag match. Angel pinned Evans to secure the win for Los Garza.
