Jamie Hayter reflects on appearing in an AEW video game.
Jamie Hayter is one of the handful of wrestlers to make her first-time video game debut in the first AEW console video game, AEW: Fight Forever. Now, she’s reflecting on what that means to her. During her recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the former AEW Women’s World Champion reflected on being humbled by the experience.
“I do love a game. I do enjoy gaming. I have quite a few consoles. I do, I partake. I thought it was pretty cool, actually, because it’s pretty wild in wrestling, you get like, your first T-shirt, and then you get your first figure, and you’re like immortalized in figure form, forever, right? And then when it’s a video game, it’s, it’s kind of even cooler, because people are like, Oh, I can’t believe you’re in a video game. That’s crazy. So, it’s a pretty wild thing. So obviously, I did download myself and played. I made my brother do it as well. He gave me loads of belts, obviously. He made, me the men’s champion or something. I was like, ‘Yeah, Cheers, mate.’ So that’s pretty cool. That’s definitely cool to mess around on. So it’s very humbling to me to see things like that.”
